Tom Gauld's work is-quite rightly-all over the internet lately, primarily in relation to his new book 'The Gigantic Robot' and you'll spy his book-jacket designs the next time you're in town. His to-the-point illustration and razor sharp writing is pretty faultless by my reckoning.
I should admit that I know Tom in a round-about way, from his time at art college here in Edinburgh and he's a thoroughly good guy, even trading me some of his 'very small comics' for a pretty mediocre mini-comic I bashed together a good few years ago. Still, even if you don't or didn't know him, even looking back at his degree show all those moons ago, it was clear this was work that should have an audience. And boy, does it!
