I AM NOT AN ARTIST - AN ANIMATED GIF PARANOIA ABOUT NONSTOP DESIGN WORKERS
The excellent AWH have refreshed their website with some great new iconography and some juicy infographic goodness.

Some very smart typography from Brooklyn, NY artist Jessica Hische and a lot of cool design illustration and design work featuring hand-lettered text as a component part of the overall package.
I particularly like the feel of the example above, originally produced as an illustration for a magazine article; there's a real mix of styles but it all hangs together perfectly.
It might not be the time of year for proudly displaying an awesome new t-shirt on my physical person (brrr) but that doesn't mean I can't display it here, right?
I spotted this shirt over on http://grainedit.com/ the other week, it's a second limited printing from Portland based collective Always With Honor (Tyler Lang and Elsa Chaves) which, as well as looking great and fulfilling my apparently insatiable appetite for bear related items of late, also goes toward helping actual bears.
So. Click click went the internet and, through the magic of international postage I had one within the week. There's still a few left I think, but only in X-small. Which I'm not.

Boulder, Colorado design agency Moxie Sozo produce print, digital and packaging designs that make my eyes bleed. In a good way. The packaging artwork for a new range of soap is unbelievable. Soap? I've never wanted to wash with organic soap so much in my life before. Octopi, stags, tropical birds...insane.
These designs don't appear on their website at the moment (as far as I can see) so thanks to The Denver Egotist for bringing them to the world. Lots of good, design related content on that website too. Just so you know.
I'm going to spend a while longer gazing in adoration at these designs, I think.
Where are my shades?
