A remarkable collection of artwork from Iranian children's books
'A Journey Round My Skull' blog has a few posts featuring some gorgeous illustrations from Iranian books. There's so much good stuff here; although I can't read the text accompanying many of the illustrations I love the juxtapositions of the art and calligraphy.
