I love this print by Brighton, England based French illustrator HelloMarine.

There's all kinds of reasons for buying Tiny Showcase prints; not only do they generally rock, a percentage of each and every print sold benefits the artists chosen charity. This weeks double-size print from the massive Josh Keyes (a personal favourite) is available for one week only with 50% of each sale going to Partners in Health/Stand with Haiti. Get 'em while they're hot. Available from 7.30pm EST tonight, January 26th 2010 or right freaking now if you're on the mailing list. I've got mine.

A quick post for today. I might just buy this print by Tony Bevilacqua as it's damn near perfect.
I might basically be reiterating a point made by http://myloveforyou.typepad.com but hell, it bears repeating. Great work.
Yeah. So I bought these prints way back in the middle of last year as a birthday present for my more-than-better half but we only got around to getting some frames for them a week or so back. Not only do they look great framed and hung, as all prints should be, but they were also inspired by the track 'My Home is the Sea', the opener from Matt Sweeney and Bonnie 'Prince' Billy's spectacular 'Sueprwolf' album, release back in 2005.
The super short run is well sold out but Mat does hint on his blog (http://matpringle.blogspot.com/ ) that he might be doing a run of an alternative design.
A few posts ago (concentrate at the back) I suggested that I got a little excited by the concept of a screenprinter listing how many screens were used in the production of each print. It's true, I'm nuts for that kind of information and I refuse to apologise for it.
So when I read about Meighan O' Toole's studio visit to Repeat Press (www.repeatpress.com) on her always inspiring blog, My Love for You is a Stampede of Horses ( http://myloveforyou.typepad.com) I was already excited. Lots of cool photos of an even cooler workspace, with lots of nitty-gritty detail. Nice.
Then I played the video embedded in the post. Directed by Quarter Productions it details the creation*, by Mike at Repeat Press, of stacks of letterpress coasters for some clients. It's likely partly the content and watching the guy at work and partly the production values of the film itself but it just makes you want to go out and make stuff (to paraphrase the posters).
This has totally made my day. In fact, as it's Wednesday, it's probably made my week.
Go watch it.
*there's a hell of a lot of off-cuts produced by the process. I hope he recycles!
Not only is Deth one of my all-time favourite artists I actually managed to snag one of these prints thanks to my perfect little son waking me up at 5.20am and, as I warmed his bottle, I stumbled to the computer and hit 'Add to Cart'.
We all slept well after that.
As I type there are still six left. R-U-N!
Prints from Colorado native Anthony Cozzi, with an emphasis on the natural world and ecology. As he says in his own bio, a perspective that growing up in beautiful Colorado has helped to foster.

Very tempted to break out the plastic money on this. A very nice print indeed by Will Bryant, discovered via http://myloveforyou.typepad.com/
Cool framing on the photo too...
