I've managed to successfully avoid blogging most of this week for one reason or another. One of those reasons, unfortunately, wasn't that I was holed up in this log house office on wheels.

It's late(ish) and, by rights I should just save this blog post until tomorrow but I can't. Sterling Allen's work (http://sterlingallen.com ) blows my mind. From sketches, paintings, installations and warped plush figures, they're making me laugh and grimace even as I type.
His work's one of those late night finds you want to share but can't really explain why. I stumbled across his work while looking for something I can't even remember now. What I do remember is he's a part of the Austin, Texas collective Okay Mountain, whose adventures I first became aware of via their other member Mr. Michael Sieben.
